Sara Reid is the founder of REID Legal. After more than a decade practicing at Canada’s top national firms, she launched REID Legal to deliver highly specialized commercial real estate legal counsel, with a personalized and results-driven approach.
Widely recognized as one of Quebec’s leading real estate lawyers, Sara is known for her strategic insight, sound judgment, and pragmatic solutions to resolving complex legal and commercial issues. Her clients include major corporations, institutional investors, real estate funds, REITs, developers, and private asset managers.
Before founding REID Legal, Sara was a partner at Fasken LLP and previously practiced at Dentons LLP and Heenan Blaikie LLP, where she advised clients on real estate capital markets transactions. She has also served as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Real Property Law Section.

Linda began her legal career at one of Montreal's reputable notarial firms, where she built a strong foundation in property law. Prior to joining Reid Legal, she practiced at a leading business law firm in Quebec, where she advised both institutional and private clients on a broad spectrum of real estate matters, including multi-residential, commercial, and industrial transactions. Her experience includes leasing, partnerships, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
